Forbes agents penned a similar offering of 47928 sheep and lambs this week which included a total of 32384 lambs. There were 5000 new season lambs which sold at unchanged rates, and 7000 merino lambs included. The quality varied and there was not as much weight in the heavier lambs. All the same buyers as have been in attendance for the last couple of months were in attendance. Crossbred lambs were $10 cheaper and prime merino lambs eased $5 to $8. There were 15544 grown sheep penned, and prices eased by $10 to $15. Trade sheep averaged 730c, heavy ewes 790c.
